Born Again!

O.K. This will blow most everyone's mind. I am a born again Christian. Much of what I have been doing here was all a precursor to my accepting Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I am a recovering..Pot Head. I am approximately 30 days clean and sober. After 32 years of denial, agnosticism and reading so-so many books except the one that really matters, I have turned my life over to Christ. Giving up reefer was easy. Cutting loose 30 year friendships that are bad for me (Including my Mother and Sister) was and is extremely difficult. My new family and friends are at my community church which I will not name till I have permission. This is not something I do lightly. Ironically or perhaps divinely, I was baptised yesterday in of all places the Cape Coral Yacht Club pool. Should all churches be tax exempt?

Despite the name of this blog, I am by no means a bible scholar or theologian. Is Mormonism is a form Christianity and a valid religion? Some would say that all religions are cults. Most evangelicals do not acknowledge the Church of  Latter Day Saints, as they do Judaism or other forms of Christianity. Mormonism seems to me a relatively new schism designed to obscure the finances of a secret society. (You may argue they all are) It has little to do with scripture and the teachings of  Jesus.  The huge churches IMO are an offense to God. Churches should be humble; acquiring  real estate and wealth is  antithetical to Jesus's teachings. The church of LDS holdings are incalculable. It's disgusting.   Churches in our country are tax exempt, but I don't think the church of LDS deserves that exemption. Most churches don't, they are businesses, and should be taxed as such.   Jesus would certainly rebuke todays churches: Luke 18:23 (N.I.V.) "...

You don't mess with your cleaning lady.

Imagine you are a house cleaner. You show up whenever and you start doing the house. While you are cleaning the bathroom scrubbing some s*** or piss, the owner starts moving your stuff around making it more difficult for you to do the job. He also insults you, tells lies about you, takes credit for work that you did. The minute you leave he pisses all over the floor. This is how Democrats must feel. Republicans lie about us cheat us, when we are the ones that are continually cleaning up their mess. Every single time Republicans are in charge they rack up the national debt, they crash the economy, cause massive loss of jobs. When the Democrats are in charge, we have continual job growth, a strong economy, and we pay down the national debt. Yes we had to raise taxes because the idiots ran up the national debt, usually with a stupid tax cut, or a war or a wall or some other stupid waste of money. (The F-35 comes to mind).
