Helen Thomas spoke truth to power


Helen Thomas has asked more tough questions of more administrations than any journalist alive. She spoke her mind. She was fired. Unfortunately she was right and history proves her so. I used to support Israel, but more and more I feel they have become the thing that created them, Genocidal Fascists. Israel is an artificially created state. Israel has illegally occupied the West Bank of Gaza for over 35 years. Israel is committing War Crimes. Of course we commit them also. What's going on in Gaza is as bad as anything the Nazi's did. Look at any map of Palestine over the last 40 years and you will see how the Palestinians are being systematically deprived of their land and exterminated. We have a "War on terror" Look up the word "Terrorism". Below is the transcript of the questions that got her fired. So much for free speech. It was unpopular but it was historically correct. For the record I am not an anti-semite and I am not a Holocaust denier. I am just being historically accurate.

On May 27, 2010, outside a Jewish Heritage Celebration Day event at the White House, the following exchange took place between Thomas and Rabbi David Nesenoff

Nesenoff: Any comments on Israel? We're asking everybody today, any comments on Israel?

Thomas: Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine.

Nesenoff: Oooh. Any better comments on Israel?

Thomas: Remember, these people are occupied and it's their land. It's not German, it's not Poland ...

Nesenoff: So where should they go, what should they do?

Thomas: They go home.

Nesenoff: Where's the home?

Thomas: Poland. Germany.

Nesenoff: So you're saying the Jews go back to Poland and Germany?

Thomas: And America and everywhere else. Why push people out of there who have lived there for centuries? See? (bold and italics mine)

You don't mess with your cleaning lady.

Imagine you are a house cleaner. You show up whenever and you start doing the house. While you are cleaning the bathroom scrubbing some s*** or piss, the owner starts moving your stuff around making it more difficult for you to do the job. He also insults you, tells lies about you, takes credit for work that you did. The minute you leave he pisses all over the floor. This is how Democrats must feel.
