But since my bank account is currently at -$73, facing homelessness and I have broken out in all kinds of sores and boils, I can really relate to Job. I can't find a job but I can always look up Job. I noticed that on Conservative news shows Rasmussen polls are always quoted. These polls are always so in the tank for cons it really silly. If you compare their polls to any other poll out there you will find Rasmussen so far from reality that it's only purpose can be for the righties to continue to delude themselves with the lies spewed forth from Fox news. I'll keep today's post short and simple. Nobody likes taxes. But starting 2 wars while simultaneously cutting taxes for the rich is just plain dumb. (Thanks GW) I heard Sean Insanity of Fix News state yesterday that revenue is increased when taxes are cut. This is like saying 1+2=5. Until the Vietnam war our county always made sacrifices to fund wars. Either thru rationing (sugar , steel ect) or the raising of taxes. I often hear folks complain that the immigration issue is one of the reasons our economy is in the toilet. Cheap labor hired by unscrupulous companies keep wages low and jobs unavailable to legal citizens. Some xenophobes speak of building a wall around our borders, or using militia to guard them. But there is a more insidious technique used by companies that no wall or border patrol can stop. All it requires is routing an 800 number to Manila or India or Singapore. It is known as Outsourcing. Outsourcing has caused the loss of more American jobs than all jobs lost to illegal immigration. Companies that thought this would help their bottom line jumped on the Outsourcing bandwagon. For Example: The Sony corporation once based it's technical support call center right here in Ft. Myers, Florida. Now those jobs are in India and Malaysia. Sony just posted it's first loss ever.
